Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) is an anxiety

Obsessive-compulsive disorder symptoms include both
obsessions and compulsions.
OCD and compulsion symptoms can sometimes be so
severe and time-consuming that a sufferers life becomes
dominated by their thoughts and actions.

Obsessive compulsive

OCD obsessions are persistent repeated and
unwanted ideas, thoughts, images or impulses that you experience
involuntarily. They often appear to be senseless. These
obsessions typically surface when you're trying to think
of or do other things.
Typical OCD obsessions.
Fear of dirt or contamination.
Repeated thought or doubts.
Having to have things orderly and symmetrical
Aggressive or horrible impulses/ actions.
Sexual images or thoughts.
Compulsions.
Compulsions behaviors that you feel driven to perform and
are repetitive. These repetitive behaviors are meant to
prevent or reduce anxiety or distress related to your obsessions.
For example, if you believe you left the iron on you may
return home over and over again from work or shopping because
you just can't shake your doubts. You may even make up rules
or rituals to follow that help control the anxiety you feel
when having obsessive thoughts such as locking the front
door in a certain order.

Cleaning and Washing.
Checking.
Checking.
Repeating actions over and over again.
Arranging and sorting items to appear orderly and tidy.
Treatment.
